BEST PLACES TO VISIT
This is a medium-sized beach that is surrounded by steep cliffs covered with vast greenery, located right below Lithos Villas. To reach Kanali beach you have to leave the car where the paved road finishes and walk along a narrow path through the trees. Since the access is not as easy as the two nearby beaches (Trapezaki and Lourdas), Kanali Beach is not crowded. There are no tourist facilities here and the beach retains its virgin characteristics. The azure waters offer an exotic atmosphere that matches ideally with the surrounding area. This idle secluded beach is perfect for a relaxed stay and a refreshing swim.
Lourdas beach is located at Lourdata village just 15 km from Argostoli. Lourdata is built at a privileged location with dense vegetation and fruitful land. The long sandy beach attracts plenty of tourists and locals due to the exceptional location and the crystal clear waters. The sea is quite deep in some parts so a much attention must be paid when small kids swim. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, watersport facilities, beach bars and mini markets. At the area there are many taverns and restaurants.
Trapezaki beach is situated near the Moussata village. This is the perfect beach for those who seek quite vacations with clear shallow waters. It is essential to be equipped with water if you plan to stay long, because there are no shops to provide you with the necessary, in addition to a restaurant, which is not on the beach but at a short distance.
